Eva’s Signature flowing static rotation low mounts. Encouraging choiceful and opportunity based mounts on to the pole. Mounts are the ways that we “get on” the pole, any time our feet are off the floor & we are suspended in the air. Dismounts are when we shift our weight back to the floor. We’ll focus on how not to give up in those very last moments & instead how to transfer our weight seamlessly between pole & floor.
The devil is in the details. We’ll be focusing on the energy transfers & oppositional forces when mounting the pole. Some of the techniques we will be covering here transfer directly to our movement on & around the pole. With these low mount techniques, we’ll cover some of the essentials of static rotations & finding new opportunities on static poles.
This workshop will find some opportunities to build on some of the movement principles we learnt within Continuous Motion & Flowing Floor Tricks workshops.
Each session in this workshop collection compliments each other, and you will get more out of them if you choose to join more than one. It is not essential to have attended the previous workshop.
Wilde Coaching session is included with this workshop on the 2nd December. 30 minutes is dedicated to answering any questions & working on things that still feel unclear after some time & practice post-workshops. It is a time for asking workshop-related questions, getting feedback on sticky movement & practicing some of things you learnt in the workshops.
