Creating movement within traditional tricks is Eva’s favorite way to play with static pole. Evolving traditional “tricks” into waving & rippling delicious opportunities that give a completely different movement texture.
In this workshop we’ll focus on some of Eva’s signature tricks such as knee hooks outside & inside leg hangs, brass monkeys and genies to find ripple opportunities.
We’ll focus on the techniques of holding our weight on the pole efficiently, finding the right contact points & introducing body isolations up the pole.
This workshop will complement our experience within the static rotations & mounts we did in Low Mounts & Loving Dismounts. It is not essential to have attended the previous workshop, however, each session in this workshop collection compliments each other, and you will get more out of them if you choose to join more than one.
Wilde Coaching session is included with this workshop on the 2nd December. 30 minutes is dedicated to answering any questions & working on things that still feel unclear after some time & practice post-workshops.
It is a time for asking workshop-related questions, getting feedback on sticky movement & practicing some of things you learnt in the workshops.
Pre-requisites: Confident with a variety of grips including thigh grips, knee grips & armpit grips. Inverting is not essential, but can be useful. Intermediates & beyond.
